TraversIt's the biggest event of the biggest thing we have around here: Travers Day. Expect a ginormous crowd at the track Saturday, which means one thing: think early. Leave home early, park early, grab your spot early. Early, early, early. Did we mention that you should do everything early? To facilitate your earliness, the track will open at 7am Saturday. The other big difference on Travers Day is that they'll charge you to go into the clubhouse during breakfast ---and Saturday's clubhouse admission is doubled to $10. Hey: $10 for a major sporting event? That's a bargain. Regarding parking, maybe a good strategy is park far away instead of close ---that way you might duck some of the traffic at the end of the day.
