Here's another shot at the silver screen for you: later in August, a Japanese production company will be shooting scenes for a WWII film aboard the USS Slater. They need some extras who look like American sailors, aged 18-30, who must fit some specific requirements, like "14-15 ½ shirt, waist 32-34, height no more than 6’2” (max) weight range approx. 145-190lbs." Casting is Saturday at the Holiday Inn Express at 1pm. The movie, "Orion in Midsummer", is described as an "action packed naval adventure" with a U.S. destroyer hunting a Japanese sub. After that whole Pearl Harbor thing, we're rooting for the Yanks.
