SATYes, watched ---by a 41-year-old woman who is not his mother. But now that we have your attention, we should probably explain that he's enrolled in an SAT prep course conducted by an online tutor. In a brilliant nexus of remote learning and personal attention, Torcivia is getting ready for the SAT's by taking an online class that's closely monitored by tutors employed Wilson Daily Prep. Nick and his mother were featured in a recent NY Times story that explains how in an age of over-scheduled electronics-addicted kids, services like this may be a good solution for squeezing in one more thing. But if they slack off? Then mom and dad get a call from the teacher, just like at real school.
