You've heard of fundraising walks and runs, but fundraising hikes? The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Upstate NY/Vermont's Hike For Discovery is a great way to learn a new sport and help a great cause at the same time. Participants receive professional training and fundraising support ---and a great opportunity to be part of a team. There's an information meeting Wednesday 8/13 at 5:30 at The Crossings of Colonie; look for them in the south pavilion.
